But the walls, those towering, powerful walls, would be seen to be built upon the blood, sweat, and tears of the generations that lived in the West from the end of the Dark Ages to the modern era. Observing the roof, it would be seen to be constructed in a sort of hodge-podge construction of modern ideas. If one were to imagine the history of the West as a house, it would be observed that the foundation of the house was constructed upon great achievements of the Grecian and Latin peoples over two millennia ago. ![]() The result of these changes is the modern world for all of its many faults and glorious achievements. Within a matter of centuries whole value systems were adjusted, erased, or replaced due to the change of how man viewed his position in the world.
